What I treasure most about Pastor Tom was his personality. I remember him as someone who was laid back , funny, and learned how to not take himself or life too serious! He's the only person I knew that was able to encourage himself and others to not quit and to keep going foward. No matter who you were rich or poor , he had a way that made you feel special and important when he was around! I remember going to sunset hill project to pass out tracks and he ended up playing basketball for hours with a group of teens just so he could have an opportunity to give them the gospel at the end. Heather became a Christian that day!🙌 For a long time I wondered why he had to go home so soon. Although I can't make sense of it all I know that Pastor Tom was a great example of Christ here and truly loved people and God . He was a peacemaker and made such a difference in this life. He got what so many of us struggle with our whole lives! At his memorial service the lines of people were amazingly long, so many lives he touched! He truly lived a lifetime in a few short years but left behind some amazing examples, memories that can never be forgotten and a beautiful family!❤️
