I got to know Pastor Tom and Deb when I went on a missions trip to Greece. I had never met anyone with so much energy and joy for living. That first trip I just wanted to do everything perfectly and of course, I messed up so many times. I found out Pastor Tom was great at correction too. I went to visit two more times and was working toward learning to teach English and moving there to join the team when they came back to the states. God granted my desire to spend an extended time overseas helping a missions church, I was given the news of his passing. I wanted to be home to join in comforting all those who loved him. It was a devastating loss. I look forward to seeing him one day again in heaven.
