Pastor Tom read this from the pulpit after his first surgery.2 Corinthians 1:3-4 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” He was so broken reading it and it really ministered to the congregation. I was in the church for only a short time before he got sick, but I was blessed by his teaching (and his quick wit). He was in the tank with pastor martel when I was baptized also. Great man of God taken too soon.
